Corinne is a typical rich girl in New York who goes on shopping sprees at Barneys, etc.
Her father then gets laid off from work and her becomes poor. Corinne, her brother Tripp and her mother J.J is forced to live with her grandparents in Texas.
Corinne absolutely hates it there, but then, apparently, a hot boy she meets at work changed that.
The details were well portrade. I've always loved New York and I've always enjoyed
Texas. Having them together in one book was great.
When I read a book, I usually look for the intenseness of the lovers. There wasn't much in this but it fits with it concept.
I love Bubby's humor and Kitsy's happy aura.
Reading about Grandma's food made me want to eat, or at least cook the food she's cooking.
Overall, it was a good book. I wish I could feel the book more. I kind of expect more in the ending.
